I graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Law, in 2004. During my university years, I was member of the Bibó István Technical College and its Civilistic Workshop. Partly in the framework of this College training I started dealing with the legal issues of information technology: the legal problems of e-signature, e-trade and e-administration. In 2001, I was given the third place in the legal section of the National Scientific Student Conference for my study dealing with some issues of the legal harmonization of consumer-protection. I wrote my thesis about electronic company administration that was a fresh start at that time. I spent my lawyer-candidate years (2004-2008) at the Ormós Law Office, specialized in legal IT issues. I established the Kovács A. Tamás Law Office in 2008, which works in close cooperation with eGov Consulting Ltd. and the Ormós Law Office. At present I am a post-graduate student at Pécs University of Sciences, my area of research focuses on the modernisation of e-administration and e-Government.
My activities at eGov Consulting Ltd. include several research and consultancy in e-signature, e-administration, e-payment and data protection. I have had the opportunity to participate in the preparation and coordination of several laws on e-Government. I have also partaken in the professional preparation of several e-administrative IT systems. The practical experience gained in these fields is extremely valuable in scientific research and for my PhD thesis covering this area.
In my free time, I do sports (play basketball, go cycling and running), play the bass guitar in a band and try to spend as much time with my friends and family as possible.
