Requirement Analysis and Specification
The first phase of the project aimed at the implementation and further development of e-administration and other IT solutions is the drawing up of a detailed specification of requirements.
The aim of the specification is to clearly define the expectations both derived from the earlier development plans and directly set by the contractor as well as the task-related requirements deriving from conditions that cannot be changed.
The approval of the specification of requirements can be followed by the planning phase of the system in compliance with the requirements.
The quality of requirement specification is a key element regarding the success, efficiency of the project and the implementation of the handover-takeover procedure. The requirement specification covers among others the
- General and special system, hardware and software level requirements,
- Functional requirements,
- User relationship connected requirements (usability, response times etc.)
- Other non-functional (system security, data protection related etc.) requirements.
